Tinotenda Mushore has stood in front of Bastiaan Woudt's camera since 2015. A large part of the work he is known for was made with her. This exhibition brings fifteen of those images together for the first time, from the earliest one in 2016 to work made this year.
In the earliest works you see skin, hair and grain, and barely an object. Gradually the form takes over, until the body all but disappears beneath it. In the most recent work it returns to fabric, gesture and presence. Ten years of returning to the same frame does not produce repetition but a shift, and that shift is only visible when everything hangs side by side.
The works are shown in three formats, from 45 x 60 to 135 x 180 cm, all in limited edition.
The opening is on Friday 30 October, from 16:00 to 19:00. Registration is required via
